(brushes, styles, patterns, actions etc):1. Deactivate PSE8 (in the help menu)
2. Uninstall.
3. Go to Control Panel and in Classic View select Folder Options. Under the view Tab, select Show Hidden Files and Folders (in Vista and I presume Win7)
4. Go to Start/Computer/C/users/ (Account Name)/App Data/Roaming/Adobe and delete the Organiser.
5. Delete the Folder Photoshop Elements, or if you have more than one version of elements installed, open it and delete the Folder 8.0 and 7.0
6 Go to C/Program Files/Adobe and delete Elements Organiser 8 and (if it is still there) the File Photoshop Elements 8.0,
7. Go to C/Programs/Program data/Adobe and delete Camera Raw and Elements Organiser, Premier Elements and Photoshop Elements 8.
8. Go back to the Control Panel and re-hide the hidden files (see step 3)
Now, clean the registry. Download the excellent free CCleaner program from Piriform.
http://www.ccleaner.com/The cleaner is pretty intuitive. Clean your hard drive first, then repeatedly clean the regestry until no new errors appear. It is advisable to back
up your registry when it prompts you to do so.
Now, reinstall Elements 8.
See if that does the trick.
Ik hoop dat het helpt!
